Our MP Bim Afolami has liaised with the Chief Executive Officer of NHDC, the Leader of the Labour Group, District Councillors, and Ministerial Colleagues in Michael Gove’s Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Department, regarding options to remove East of Luton from the Local Plan.
Michael Gove has extensive powers under the Town and Planning Act 1990, and can intervene in planning decisions.
We need to protect this environment and our Green Belt.
The fight is by no means over; we will keep you updated.
