NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF MODIFICATION ORDER
Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981

Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way in Hertfordshire
The Hertfordshire County Council (Offley Bridleway 41) Modification Order 2019
The above named Order, made on 12th December 2019, was confirmed without modifications by Hertfordshire County Council on 30th June 2020.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement by adding to the particulars relating to Offley Bridleway 41 from Luton Road (public highway) adjacent to the Flints at
TL 1348 2684 (point A on the Order Plan) then running generally north north east for approximately 290 metres to Gt Offley Bypass at TL 1356 2711 (point B on the Order Plan) following north east beside the bypass for approximately 60 metres to TL 1361 2715 (point C on the Order Plan) then
across the bypass to TL 1360 2717 (point D on the Order Plan) continuing generally north west for approximately 260 metres to a junction with Offley Bridleway 38 at TL 1347 2739 (point E on theOrder Plan), continuing generally east north east for approximately 320 metres to join School Lane (public highway) at Birkitt Hill at TL 1376 2751 (point F on the Order Plan) by providing a width.
The width varies between 9 metres and 10 metres between TL 1348 2684 (point A on the Order Plan) and TL 1356 2711 (point B on the Order Plan) and varies between 5 metres and 16 metres between TL 1360 2717 (point D on the Order Plan) and TL 1376 2751 (point F on the Order Plan).
The width is 4 metres between TL 1356 2711 (point B on the Order Plan) and TL 1361 2715 (point C on the Order Plan) and 8.5 metres between TL 1361 2715 (point C on the Order Plan) and TL 1360 2717 (point D on the Order Plan).

The Order becomes operative as from the date on which it was confirmed, but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, or any regulation made thereunder, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he may, under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 of the Act within 42 days from 10th September 2020, make application for the purpose of the High Court.
